these web sites which provide regular news updates.
The web site is a news page about international environmental events
and issues. Use the menu list on the right hand side of the news page
to find out daily environmental news from around the world. They also
have an Archive of news about specific environmental issues, that
can be accessed using the interactive menu at the bottom of the page.
The web site contains some news pages and forums where messages can
be posted. The new articles are focused on US environmental situations,
however a number of the issues covered, e.g. alternative energy sources,
are applicable to all westernised nations.
This is the Australian ABC's Online News Service. A link to their
page about Environmental news can be found about half-way down the
menu on the left hand side of the home page. The Environment news
covers a broad range of environmental topics, from both overseas and
Australia. An Interviews and Analysis section can be found in the
bottom right the Environment News page.
