The Smart Housing Initiative of the QLD Department of Housing provides
information on how to design and construct more socially, economically
and environmentally sustainable homes. The web site contains an extensive
amount of information on all three areas, including a checklist that
you can use to assess your own home, or a home you wish to purchase.
A number of sustainable housing examples are also showcased on the
web site.
