AIM:

The Department of Natural Resources and Mines and the University of Queensland have carried out detailed monitoring of the Healthy Home since its construction using a number of sensors located in various positions around the home. These include:

  • 15 Water Meters
  • 5 Electrical Power Meters
  • 9 Temperature Sensors
  • 2 Humidity Sensors
  • A weather station located on top of the house to record wind speed and direction, rainfall and solar radiation
  • 7 Toroid Apparent Electrical Current Sensors
  • 1 Pressure Transducer (to measure the depth of water in the rainwater tank)

The sensors are connected to a Campbell Datalogger located in the laundry. For more information on the datalogger see the Campbell Datalogger information page.
