Recycled Timber

Kennedy's Classic Aged Structural Timber Members

AIM:

The recycled timber elements consisting of the stairs, posts, railings, joinery, floor and decking were all re-milled to make them safe and suitable for reuse in the house. Recycled stress graded structural hardwood was de-nailed and used to support the timber flooring and decking.

Using recycled timber elements where ever possible in the house means that there is a reduction of the use of new resources from plantation or old growth forests.
